Little Nightmares has got to be one of my favorite games of the last few years. Today, developer Tarsier Studios very quietly revealed that more information about the sequel will be coming this summer.
You can see the quiet announcement just below, in a tweet from the official Little Nightmares account, just after it was announced that the original game was coming to Google Stadia. There's no telling when the additional information surrounding the game will be revealed, but Summer isn't far away at all.
(And for those excited for news about Little Nightmares II, we haven't forgotten you. More information is coming later this summer.)- Little Nightmares II (@LittleNights) May 27, 2020
It's worth remembering that Little Nightmares 2 is still scheduled to release later this year in 2020. If you check the bio of the official Little Nightmares Twitter account, it says the game is coming to PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch in 2020.
Any news is welcome news for Little Nightmares 2. The original game released back in 2017, and is, in my mind at least, one of the best horror games of the past few years. It's a small experience in which a mysterious child in a yellow hood dodges monsters and beasts while the game slowly reveals who and where you are. It's excellent stuff.
Little Nightmares 2 was first revealed back in August 2019, and we've seen or heard absolutely nothing about the sequel since. Here's hoping the news coming in the summer is good news.
