Mortal Kombat 11's Upcoming DLC Includes Arnold Schwarzenegger's Terminator and the Joker

More kombatants are koming to MK11.

Fighting game guest characters have been especially wild the last few years, and NetherRealm Studios is looking to keep the bar high. In a trailer for its full Kombat Pack 1 today, NetherRealm confirmed several DLC characters coming to Mortal Kombat 11, including Arnold Schwarzenegger's Terminator T-800 and the Joker.

Rolling out over the next few months and into the new year, Kombat Pack 1 includes Shang Tsung and Nightwolf (both available now), as well as the Terminator T-800, Sindel, Joker, and Spawn. Arnold arrives on October 8, Sindel returns to Mortal Kombat on November 26, Joker on January 28, and Spawn on March 17.

This confirms a few leaks that were found in the Nintendo Switch version of Mortal Kombat 11, though some fighters like Fujin, Sheeva, and Ash from Army of Darkness are nowhere to be found. Whether there's a Kombat Pack 2 or not, this is the foreseeable rollout of characters for the next year or so of Mortal Kombat 11.

While Arnold is making his Mortal Kombat debut, the Joker is no stranger to NetherRealm Studios fighting games, having appeared in both Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe and the Injustice series. Spawn also found his way into the Soulcalibur series. There's something odd about Joker's appearance here, though; maybe it's just me, but this oddly musclebound Joker looks too "normal" to me.

I'm very excited to see Sindel return to the series though, and it's surprising to see the Terminator arrive so soon. Mortal Kombat 11 is still the best-selling game of the year so far, so it'll be interesting to see what NetherRealm does with that ongoing success.
