NBA 2K19's First Screenshot Revealed Along With Cover Star and Trailer

NBA 2K19 announced its cover star for this year's entry into the popular basketball game franchise, and it's none other than Milwaukee Bucks' Giannis Antetokounmpo. He will be the first international player to grace the cover of an NBA 2K title.

NBA 2K19 released the first screenshot and video dedicated to Antetokounmpo's reveal. While not a lot of details were revealed, the video shows off Antetokounmpo's path from Greece to the NBA. You can watch the reveal trailer below.

Antetokounmpo will be on the standard edition of NBA 2K19 while LeBron James will be on the cover of the 20th Anniversary Edition for 2K19, which was revealed in June after a leak on Reddit. The 20th Anniversary Edition will cost $99.99 and feature bonus content like 100,000 virtual currency points, 50,000 MyTeam points, 20 MyTeam League packs, a Sapphire LeBron James MyTeam card, 10 MyTeam Heat Check packs, five LeBro-themed murals for MyCourt, and a LeBron MyCourt design.

NBA 2K19 Standard Edition will be available on September 11 for PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. The 20th Anniversary Edition will be available four days earlier on September 7. For more on NBA 2K19 including trailers, previews, and news check out our NBA 2K19 guide.
