NBA 2K19 Revealed, Shows LeBron James From a Happier Time
Following a leak, 2K Games has officially revealed NBA 2K19 with LeBron James on the cover of the 20th Anniversary edition.
The NBA 2K19 release date has leaked a little earlier than planned, with the game being outed for worldwide release on September 11. If you're willing to shell out for the 20th Anniversary Edition however, you can get a copy four days earlier on September 7.
Just below, you can see the standee that leaked through Reddit on June 5. It reveals that not only will NBA 2K19 be releasing on September 7 for early access and later on September 11, but also that LeBron James is the cover star for the game (little surprise there).

While we don't yet know the pricing of the upgraded 20th Anniversary Edition for NBA 2K19, we do know that it'll release four days earlier than the standard version of the game, on September 7. This is a Friday, meaning those who pre-order will have the weekend to get ahead of those with the standard edition of NBA 2K19, which releases on Tuesday, September 11.
In addition to all this, it appears as though NBA 2K19 will also be releasing on the Nintendo Switch, following on from NBA 2K18 releasing on Nintendo's latest console last year in 2017. We didn't think much of last year's NBA 2K18 Switch port, so here's hoping 2K improve on the visuals and performance this time round.
