Nemesis Has Zero Chill in New Resident Evil 3 Remake Trailer

Nemesis Has Zero Chill in New Resident Evil 3 Remake Trailer

STAAARRRRRSSSSS!

A new trailer for the remake of Resident Evil 3 dropped today, highlighting Jill, Carlos, and of course, Nemesis. It seems like the action is really ramped up for Jill's remade adventure, and her constant, colossal rival in Nemesis has a few upgrades as well.

Throughout the trailer, you can see Nemesis hounding Jill throughout Raccoon City. Whether dragging her in with a whip-like tether, throwing a few punches, or wielding a massive arsenal of weapons, Nemesis won't be giving up the chase so easily.

The unrelenting pursuit of the player was a core part of the original Resident Evil 3, something that ended up influencing the even-scarier version of Mr. X in Resident Evil 2 Remake. Now, the inspiration gets its own upgrade, and the new Nemesis looks absolutely terrifying. It's easy to see how this new version could improve even more on the groundwork laid by Resident Evil 2 Remake. You can see some new screens of Nemesis and his arsenal, including his rocket launcher, over on the PlayStation blog.

"Yep, that's me. You're probably wondering how I ended up in this situation." - Jill Valentine | Capcom

We're due for another info drop about Resident Evil 3 Remake during a Capcom TV segment airing in less than 24 hours. It's unclear whether that will be more info than what we got from this trailer. Alongside some insight into the game's recurring antagonist, we also see some reimagined monsters and more of Carlos, whose role in Resident Evil 3's events looks to be expaned on in the remake.

Resident Evil 3 Remake is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on April 3, 2020. If you can't wait until then, you can hop over to the recently released Resident Evil 2 Remake demo to get a short audio tease of the new-and-improved Nemesis.
