New Devil May Cry 5 Demo Coming to Xbox One and PS4 Next Month

Will we see Dante in action?

A Devil May Cry 5 demo launched near the end of 2018, but much to the anger of PS4 owners, it was exclusive to the Xbox One. That demo is no longer available to download, but Capcom has announced that a brand new demo is arriving next month on the PS4 and Xbox One.

The announcement of the new demo for Devil May Cry 5 came in the tweet just below. The Xbox One-exclusive demo, which showcased Nero in action for a single level, is now no longer available to download on Microsoft’s console, but you can play it all you want if you previously downloaded the demo.

The previously released demo for Devil May Cry 5 is the one that we played back at Gamescom 2018, and were pretty stunned by. It’s a neat level that showcases Nero’s new Devilbreaker abilities, all wrapping up in a tidy boss fight with a monster that has a mouth protruding from its belly.

Looking forward to this new demo, which isn’t console-exclusive, we’re going to be seeing a different section of Devil May Cry 5. A personal hope is that we’ll get to play as Dante, who was previously playable in the Tokyo Games Show 2018 show floor demo.
