New Final Fantasy 7 Remake Scene Spotted at the Tokyo Sky Tree

Fans think it's a new prelude scene for the game.

There's currently a mini Final Fantasy 7 Remake event going on at the Tokyo Sky Tree. In a small presentation at the event, fans think they've spotted a new scene that will introduce the game upon its full release.

You can see the full vlog-style video from the Tokyo Sky Tree just below, in which someone explores the entire set up. If you watch from 1:40, there's a scene involving a small child looking up at the monolithic Mako Reactor, before the action cuts to Aerith in an alleyway.

This then transitions into a title card for the Final Fantasy 7 Remake, which in turn goes to Cloud and co. on the train preparing for the bombing mission that opened the original game. It's plausible that this scene with the unnamed child and Aerith could act as a prelude for the entire game.

Further down in the Final Fantasy 7 Remake subreddit post above, people speculate on whether the scene will make it into the full game. One person below notes that Aerith's character model looks different from when we saw the introductory alleyway scene back at E3 2019, as you can tell by her smile.

Right now, there's less than two months to go until Final Fantasy 7 Remake releases for the PS4 on April 10. There's still no sign of that leaked demo for the remake, but could a potential demo also feature this introductory scene with the mysterious child and Aerith?
