New Fortnite Content Update V7.30 Brings Bottle Rockets
Environmental Campfires heal players with their warmth.
There’s a brand new content update out right now for Fortnite Battle Royale. Update v7.30 is available to download on all platforms now, and headlining the patch is the Bottle Rocket item.
You can see the Bottle Rocket on display in the clip just below, and you can head over to the official Fortnite website for the full patch notes. It appears to function as a weapon that you place on the ground, before it fires rockets in a certain direction for a brief duration. This could make taking down enemy structures a breeze.
Elsewhere in the content update, there’s the new Environmental Campfires. You can find these dotted at specified locations around the Battle Royale map, and you can light them by interacting with the campfire. From here, it behaves like a Cozy Campfire, healing 2 health per second for 25 seconds, for all nearby players.
Gone is the Boombox, which was actually considered a little overpowered by the Fortnite community at large. There’s a reduced chance of rocket ammo from ammo boxes, an increase in the strength of the Launchpad, and now Sneaky Snowmen will no longer drop from chests.
Content update v7.30 is available to download right now for Fortnite Battle Royale on all platforms. Now that we're done here, you can head over to our Fortnite plane timed trials guide, for the locations of all the various trials for the X-4 Stormwing plane.
This Thursday will see the launch of the Fortnite Week 10 Challenges. This should mark the final week of challenges for Season 7 in Battle Royale, and so it should only be a matter of time before we hear some information regarding Fortnite Season 8.
