New Fortnite Hardboiled Skin Available Now, Drum Gun Coming Soon

Some brand new cosmetics and a weapon are round around the corner for Battle Royale.

Fortnite Season 5 might be just around the corner from launching this month, but that doesn't mean that Epic is slowing down the release of new items. There's a Hardboiled skin on the store now, plus a brand new Drum Gun right around the corner for Fortnite Battle Royale players.

In the update screen that appeared earlier today for Fortnite players, the brand new items were revealed. We should note that while the Hardboiled skins for characters are live right now in Fortnite, the Drum Gun is not, and we can only assume it'll arrive in the game before the end of this week.

Both the Drum Gun and the Hardboiled outfits are throwbacks to the 1920's gangster era of America. The new weapon is basically a tommy gun, with a high ammo capacity drum magazine, and the Hardboiled outfit looks like something out of a detective noir movie.

What's also going live later this week for Battle Royale is the Fortnite Week 10 Challenges slate, the final round before Season 5 kicks off on July 12. For more on the upcoming event, head over to our complete Fortnite Season 5 guide.
