New Kingdom Hearts 3 Trailer Shows Big Hero 6 Characters in Action

Baymax is back, baby.

Hiro Hamada, Honey Lemon, Baymax and more are coming to Kingdom Hearts 3 near the beginning of next year. We already knew the cast of Big Hero 6 would be making an appearance in Square Enix's upcoming action RPG, but this is the first time we've seen the team of heroes in action.

In the trailer for Kingdom Hearts 3, which was shown off today on September 10 during Sony's pre-Tokyo Games Show 2018 presentation, we can see Sora battling alongside characters from Disney's Big Hero 6. I loved Big Hero 6 when it came out a few years back, and in my humble opinion this is one of the better additions to the colorful cast of Kingdom Hearts 3.

But as we mentioned previously, this isn't the first time we've seen the superheroes join forces with Sora and co. Nor is this the only Disney-wide teamup going on in Kingdom Hearts 3, as we've got characters from Frozen, Tangled, and other films venturing into the game near the beginning of next year.

Kingdom Hearts 3 is due to release for PS4 and Xbox One on January 22, 2019. For all the information you need to know about Square Enix's long awaited game, head over to our Kingdom Hearts 3 everything we know guide.

Staff Writer

Hirun Cryer is by far the most juvenile member of USgamer. He's so juvenile, that this is his first full-time job in the industry, unlike literally every other person featured on this page. He's written for The Guardian, Paste Magazine, and Kotaku, and he likes waking up when the sun rises and roaming the nearby woods with the bears and the wolves.
