Another look at what's next from Naughty Dog isn't far off. The Last of Us Part 2 developer announced today that a new trailer will drop tomorrow with some ominous words from its two leads.
The short teaser features the voices of Joel and Ellie, with the former warning Ellie that there's "a cost" to finishing what she's started. It gives off similar vibes to early reveals, showing an almost-vengeful Ellie. We'll likely learn more tomorrow.
And it has to be said, you probably shouldn't read the comments under the Naughty Dog tweet either, or really just about any social media post or forum post regarding the studio's next game. Spoilers for The Last of Us Part 2's story recently leaked online, and some have been spreading them as far as they can. Though the developer has asked that fans try to avoid spoiling others, there are a lot of accounts just spreading them around as much as possible.
Sony recently declared it had discovered the parties responsible for the leak, also commenting that it wasn't a Sony or Naughty Dog employee as some had theorized. No further details have come through official channels, though recent reports indicate it might have been hackers.
The Last of Us Part 2 has been set for launch on June 19 after a recent delay, which has moved Sucker Punch's Ghost of Tsushima back to July 17, 2020. For those who have stayed unspoiled, at least they'll get one more look at the game before its summer launch.
