New Pokemon Let's Go Trailer Shows off Team Rocket and Mega Evolutions

Blasting off again?

Today, the Pokemon Company and Nintendo revealed a brand-new trailer for Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let's Go, Eevee! on Nintendo Switch. The trailer features the return of Team Rocket causing all sorts of trouble for our fledgling Pokemon Trainer. The version of Team Rocket in the Let's Go games includes classic anime antagonists Jessie, James, and Meowth.

As previously reported, Pokémon: Let's Go will also feature Mega Evolutions, which didn't feature in the series until Pokémon X and Y in 2013. Players have the ability to Mega Evolve a Pokemon once per battle is they hold that Pokemon's corresponding Key and Mega Stones. The first three Mega-enabled Pokemon will be the evolved versions of the three starters: Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise.

Finally, the new trailer shows off Vermilion City, the port city from the original game. Players can see the S.S. Anne docked at the city and face off against Vermilion City Gym leader Lt. Surge and his Electric-type Pokemon.

Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let's Go, Eevee! Are coming to Nintendo Switch on November 16, 2018. Our Pokémon Let's Go guides contain everything you need to prepare yourself for your great big Pokémon adventure.
