New Tony Hawk's Pro Skater Coming This Year, According to Pro Skater Jason Dill

Once again, the revival has been casually mentioned on a podcast.

It sounds an awful lot like a new Tony Hawk's Pro Skater game is coming this year. Pro skater Jason Dill might have let the cat out of the bag in an interview that aired yesterday.

The interview comes from The Nine Club's Stop and Chat video series on YouTube, which interviews professional skaters. In the video below, Jason Dill talks briefly about a new Tony Hawk's Pro Skater game coming this year, at around the 1 hour 36 minute mark.

"So do you guys know there's a new Tony Hawk's Pro Skater coming out in 2020?" Dill asks, to which host Chris Roberts acknowledges that he has heard about that. "So I made sure to add my board to the boards you can pick, cause I wanna be in that shit too somehow," Dill chuckles. It certainly seems like Dill's eager to be involved in the new game somehow.

This actually isn't the first time a new Tony Hawk's Pro Skater game has been unveiled by someone other than developer/publisher Activision. Last November, another guest on The Nine Club referenced being featured in an upcoming Pro Skater title.

Then, earlier this year in March, punk bank The Death Set revealed that they'd licensed "5 new songs to [the] Tony Hawk 2020 game," in a Facebook post that's since been deleted.

While there hasn't been any official comment or confirmation from Activision on a new Tony Hawk game for this year, or any year for that matter, all signs seem to point to a revival. At this point, it seems like the existence of the new game is firmly in the realm of possibility.
