Nintendo Switch Indie World Showcase Livestream on Monday Will Highlight Upcoming Titles

There's a 20-minute showcase of new indie games for the Switch, just before Gamescom kicks off.

Shortly before Gamescom kicks off, Nintendo will be showcasing some brand new indie games for the Switch. A special 'Indie World' Nintendo Direct is coming on Monday, August 19.

You can tune in for an early start of 6 a.m. PT/9 a.m. ET on Monday for the showcase. It should last about 20 minutes according to the announcement from Nintendo, and will show off a bunch of indie games, not necessarily new, that are coming to the Nintendo Switch at some point in the future.

So, what are you expecting from the Nintendo Indie World presentation? Games like Overland and NeoCab are still expected later this year, as is the fantastic River City Girls in September. Like we said though, not all the games showcased during the presentation will be new announcements, but hopefully we'll get some new reveals alongside updates on highly anticipated titles. Nintendo's Indie video from January can be watched just below.
