Nintendo's Russian Store Leaks Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Switch Bundle
The leak is coming from inside the house!
Ahead of today's Nintendo Direct, it seems that the official Russian Nintendo site has leaked a potential announcement. Folks over at Reddit noticed that the site has new pre-order pages for a Mario Kart 8 Deluxe bundle for Nintendo Switch, in both Grey and Neon (requires VPN or proxy to view).

The price of the bundles is listed as 24,999 rubles, versus the 22,499 ruble asking price for the standard Nintendo Switch. Given that the conversion isn't one-to-one, it's hard to hazard a guess at how expansive the bundle would be for North America, but $325 seems about right. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe alone is 3,699 rubles.
A quick Google Translation of the page points to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe being a physical game card, not a digital code like some of Nintendo's system bundles.
This could be a very elaborate hoax, but it doesn't look like it is. In addition, just because Russia is getting a bundle doesn't mean every region will be. Wait and see, folks!
The Legend of Zelda is one of Nintendo's mainstays, but sales-wise, the series isn't usually in the top ten best-sellers on Nintendo's recent platforms. On the other hand, Mario Kart has always been one of the stronger sellers for Nintendo, so it makes sense that they want a Nintendo Switch bundle with the game as soon as possible.
