Nintendo's Streaming One More Indie Showcase Before the Year's End: Watch It Here

The Switch gets one last shot of indie news for 2019.

As we creep closer and closer to the holidays, everyone's pushing their last bits of 2019 news out to the public. Today's Nintendo's turn, as we're in for a new Indie World Showcase that'll give us glimpses of Switch titles that await us in 2020.

The showcase will stream via YouTube in the embedded window below, starting at 10 a.m. PT / 1 p.m. ET. Nintendo's promising about 20 minutes of news on "upcoming" indie releases—considering the precedent set by past Nintendo Directs and Nindies showcases, though, there's a good chance there'll be a surprise release or two in the mix as well.

Nintendo hasn't teased any titles or developers we'll be hearing about during the presentation, but it's likely that some of the time will be devoted to ongoing support for notable Switch indies. Today marks the releases for Shovel Knight: King of Cards and Shovel Knight Showdown, so we'll almost assuredly see trailers for both. The massive 1.4 update for Stardew Valley is coming to the Switch soon, and there's a chance we could see more from Cuphead's Delicious Last Course DLC.

It's possible we'll get a release date for Radical Fish Games' action RPG CrossCode, which was announced for a 2019 Switch release at the start of the year. The developers haven't announced a delay into 2020 yet and the CrossCode eShop page still lists 2019 as the release window—maybe it'll even get a shadow drop a la Into the Breach in 2018?

Whatever gets announced during the showcase, we'll be staying on top of the biggest highlights and breakout moments of the stream if you're unable to follow along live.
