Hello Games is readying to launch its latest major content update for summer 2019, No Man's Sky: Beyond. Like previous updates, No Man's Sky: Beyond will be a free content update to all current owners of No Man's Sky, but one major new addition with Beyond isn't mechanics-based, but virtual reality.
Hello Games already announced the first component of Beyond which is No Man's Sky Online. But the second new component is VR compatibility on PC and PS4. Hello Games says the whole of No Man's Sky will be playable in virtual reality including anything from No Man's Sky, NEXT, and other updates.
No Man's Sky Beyond, along with virtual reality compatibility, will be free as with previous expansions. But Hello Games is also releasing the contents of Beyond as an exclusive retail release on PlayStation 4. The physical edition includes VR and every update leading to Beyond.
Previously No Man's Sky Beyond announced a new online update which supposedly revamps the entire multiplayer experience for No Man's Sky. We'll have to wait until we hear more concrete details about what's coming to No Man's Sky. In the meantime check out our No Man's Sky guide for walkthroughs, tips, and Beyond details.
