No Man's Sky: How to Obtain the Mature Neural Stem Instantly

There's an item you'll obtain in No Man's Sky called the Mature Neural Stem. Here's how to get one quickly.

The new Starbirth mission in No Man's Sky sends players on a wild goose chase across the universe. You're essentially building a new type of ship, and there are many different objectives to complete before you do. One involves an item called a Fragile Neural Stem, which you'll need to wait 21 hours for it to mature fully. There's a way to do this instantly, saving you a lot of time.

How to Mature the Fragile Neural Stem Instantly

To complete one of the objectives involved in the Starbirth mission you'll need to obtain a Mature Neural Stem. To do so you'll need to get a Fragile Neural Stem and wait for it to mature. This usually take 21 hours, but here's how to do it instantly.

  1. Save the game
  2. Quit out
  3. Change your system clock forward one day
  4. Go offline
  5. Load back in

What is the Mature Neural Stem For?

The Mature Neural Stem is described as follows:

This web of living tissue has grown its own metallic filaments, a mesh of silver and flesh. It crackles with its own electric charge, a network in need of its nodes.

Once you have obtained it, head into space. This will trigger the next step.
