Noctis From Final Fantasy XV Joins Dissidia Final Fantasy NT
A new TGS trailer shows off the Final Fantasy XV hero.
Dissidia Final Fantasy NT takes characters across all the Final Fantasy games and pits them against one another in combat. So it makes sense to include Noctis, the hero of the recent Final Fantasy XV to join the fray. You can check out Noctis' debut Tokyo Game Show Trailer below.
Noctis joins a roster of more than 20 other Final Fantasy characters, with at least one character from each of the main numbered game in the series. Since there's still time until Dissidia Final Fantasy NT's January console launch, Noctis is a pretty logical inclusion into the upcoming release of the game, given that fighting game boasts a pretty complete roster of Final Fantasy heroes.
Dissidia Final Fantasy NT is being developed by Koei Tecmo's Team Ninja as opposed to the first two Dissidia Final Fantasy games which were developed by Square Enix. NT features a team-based combat that lets your character and two allies join up against an enemy team. You'll be able to tweak the stats of your character for things like HP and movesets.
While NT is currently available in Japanese arcade machines, the PlayStation 4 release will include new characters as you can see here. A closed beta for the game recently wrapped up earlier this month, but luckily January isn't too far away.
