Hideo Kojima, Norman Reedus in "Talks to Do Other Stuff"

The pair might not be done collaborating just yet.

Death Stranding is nearly all said and done, with the belated PC version of the game launching in Summer this year. But it appears Norman Reedus and Hideo Kojima might not quite be done working together.

In the interview below with Wired, Reedus says that he's "in talks to do other stuff" with Hideo Kojima right now. At right around the 4:55 mark in the video, while answering a question about why he worked on Death Stranding with Kojima, Reedus rounds out his answer by saying they're still in talks to work on other stuff.

This gives rise to one obvious question: what is the "other stuff" they're in talks to do? Perhaps the most obvious answer is Death Stranding DLC. Nicolas Winding Refn, who plays Heartman in Death Stranding, previously tweeted that his character "will return" in some capacity, pointing towards either DLC for the base game, or a fully fledged sequel of sorts.

On the other hand, it's hard not to recall Silent Hills, the game between Hideo Kojima, Norman Reedus, Guillermo del Toro, and Konami that was cancelled in April 2015. Kojima and developer/publisher Konami ultimately parted ways that year, leading to the cancellation of the project that sprung from P.T., the playable teaser for the game that was released the year prior.

Whatever Reedus and Kojima are in talks to do, nothing is confirmed as of right now. The pair haven't publicly stated they're working together again going forward, so we'll have to wait a good while to see if anything comes from these "talks."
