Ori and the Will of the Wisps is hitting Xbox One and PC a little later than originally anticipated, as revealed in a new trailer shown during tonight's The Game Awards. But it won't be delayed for too long.
Originally set for February 11, 2020, Ori and the Will of the Wisps will now release on March 11, 2020 on its designated platforms. The new trailer itself looks stunning, which is to be expected from a new Ori game. The new trailer shows more of the metroidvania in action, with Ori fighting foes big and small—there's even a creepy big spider, yikes! It looks like it'll have a bit more difficult platforming sequences as well, as its brutal action was partially what it became known for in addition to its beautiful art.
Ori and the Will of the Wisps was originally announced over two years ago at E3 2017. Its predecessor Ori and the Blind Forest came out on Switch just this past September, so there's a possibility that Will of the Wisps could find a home on another platform one day. For now, the action-platformer is reserved for Xbox One and PC.
