Ori and the Will of the Wisps Release Date - PC Release, Game Pass, Gameplay
The sequel to a fan favorite Xbox Exclusive is on its way next year. Here’s everything we know about Ori and the Will of the Wisps.
Ori and the Will of the Wisps is the sequel to the beloved Ori and the Blind Forest. It has been in the works for a while now, having originally been revealed at E3 2017. Since then we’ve seen a few more trailers and heard a little bit about how it is going to play. To help you keep track of everything we know so far about Ori and the Will of the Wisps, we’ve created this Ori and the Will of the Wisps Guide. We’ll take a look at the Ori and the Will of the Wisps Release Date, and how it ties in with Xbox Game Pass, and a PC release.
Ori and the Will of the Wisps Release Date
After being announced back in 2017, Ori and the Will of the Wisps went somewhat dark for a while. That was until E3 2019 when we learned that Ori and the Will of the Wisps will launch February 11 2020.
Ori and the Will of the Wisps PC Release
Thanks to the Xbox Play Anywhere programme, Ori and the Will of the Wisps will launch on PC at the same time as it does on Xbox One. This means you’ll get to play Ori and the Will of the Wisps on February 11.

Ori and the Will of the Wisps Game Pass
Given Microsoft’s significant investment in Game Pass over the last few years, it’s no surprise that Ori and the Will of the Wisps will launch on Game Pass day and date. This means that if you have a Game Pass subscription, you’ll be able to play Ori and the Will of the Wisps on February 11 2020 as part of the service.
Ori and the Will of the Wisps Spirit Trials
One aspect of Ori and the Will of the Wisps that we know about already is Spirit Trials. Spirit Trials is a competitive time-trial mode where players can try to beat the clear times of their friends on some of Ori and the Will of the Wisps’ stages. Beating the highscores will get you in-game rewards.
We’ll be sure to update this page as we hear more on Ori and the Will of the Wisps. Check back for more news and info on gameplay.
