Overkill's The Walking Dead Gets November Release Date

The co-op FPS also has a new trailer.

News by Caty McCarthy, .

Overkill, the developers behind the Payday series, have been working on a game in The Walking Dead universe for quite some time. It's an action FPS that, like the Payday games, is fully co-op. And at last, its release is finally in sight. On November 6 in North America and November 8 in Europe and the rest of the world, Overkill's The Walking Dead will release on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.

In a new gameplay trailer revealed today during The PC Gaming Show, zombie killing and what seems like base protecting is shown. The Walking Dead itself has four playable characters: each with their own role, skill tree progression, and background story. Summed up, it sure sounds a lot like Left 4 Dead. Pre-orders for Overkill's The Walking Dead also begin tomorrow.
