Blizzard Entertainment has added a feature to Overwatch that fans have been asking since the game launched. Well, not completely. Players can now switch character skins at the beginning of a match, meaning you're not forced to use your previously-chosen skin for every match. Unfortunately, it's only possible to change at the beginning of the match.

Yes, console too. You can only change at the beginning of a match.— Overwatch (@PlayOverwatch) February 8, 2018
The change comes as the 2018 version of Overwatch's Lunar New Year event goes live. The event will feature a new Capture the Flag map and a host of skins based on the Chinese New Year festivities. The new map is the first built specifically for CTF mode, and the ruleset for the map has changed to promote more aggressive play.
In a new Developer Update video, Overwatch game director Jeff Kaplan teased new skins for Mercy and Genji.
