Watch the Overwatch Puppy Rumble Today and Support Some Good Dogs Up For Adoption

Blizzard is going all out for the Year of the Dog. Not only is there a new Lunar New Year event, but later today Blizzard will host its first-ever Puppy Rumble, a live event streamed on Twitch starring real-life puppies. The Ruble will air on the official Overwatch Twitch channel at 3 PM PT/6 PM ET.

The inaugural Puppy Rumble features adorable dogs, all up for adoption. The pups will be participating in a fun capture-the-flag game, but really they're just going to try their best to be the goodest boys they can be.

And while you're watching you should know that all the puppies featured in the Puppy Rumble are adoptable through Petfinder or through the local adoption agencies. And if you're unable to adopt a dog today, you can consider sponsoring one, or donating to several animal charities set up through the event.

And of course it wouldn't be a Overwatch event without cool costumes, so the puppies will be outfitted with Overwatch-themed outfits provided by Henchman Studios. You can check out Blizzard's official announcement tweet above.

The event will be hosted by Rachel Quirco and Mitch Leslie, while Chris Mykkles and Erik Lonnquist will be taking up shoutcasting duties.

The event should be a fun event while Overwatch fans await the next season of the Overwatch League which begin on February 21. There will be interesting new developments this stage, including the arrival of the Overwatch League's first female competitive player.
