Overwatch Winter Wonderland 2017 Legendary Skins Revealed

Junkrat is ready for the "winter"

The Overwatch Winter Wonderland event is now live, and Blizzard revealed its full slate of seasonal costumes including a Snow Owl Ana skin, "winter" Junkrat, and the "Hipster" Hanzo skin from last year's Reflections Overwatch comic.

The Winter Wonderland 2017 event for Overwatch comes with a brand new seasonal mode called Yeti Hunt. The Brawl is a 5v1 mode which has five Mei "Hunters" playing against one "Yeti" Winston. To claim victory, either the Yeti player kills the Hunters five times, or the Hunters kill the Yeti just once. The Nepal Village map has also been reskinned for this event.

Of course while it sounds simple enough on paper to take down the Yeti Winston just once, the Yeti player will have increased health and armor. Meat packs can also be found around the map which will speed up its ultimate. Meanwhile, the Hunter Mei's abilities will remain largely the same though Ice Wall and Ice Block will have reduced times. In addition, Mei can only freeze the Yeti while it is in rage mode.

As for this winter's special outfits, new skins have been released for Hanzo, Ana, Bastion, Roadhog, Junkrat, Sombra, and Soldier 76. There will also be some new sprays and emotes as part of the event as well.

Finally, last year's Winter Wonderland cosmetics are back, but with lowered costs. For example, Legendary skins from last year are now 1000 credits. Epic, Rare, and Common loot have been discounted to 250, 75, and 25 credits respectively.

Happy Yeti hunting!
