Overwatch's Bastion Gets an Adorable Lego Skin for New Event

Overwatch's Bastion Gets an Adorable Lego Skin for New Event

Just be careful you don't step on him.

Overwatch has some good skins and bad skins, but now it has one wonderfully block-y one for its best boy, Bastion. The transforming robot is getting a "Brick Bastion" skin in an upcoming limited time event for Blizzard's competitive hero shooter, which kicks off today.

By playing Overwatch, you'll be able to earn escalating rewards, building up to the Lego-laden skin for Bastion at the very top. Along the way there are other rewards like sprays and icons, depicting Brick Bastion in all his interlocking glory.

You can also earn some other sprays and cosmetics for watching Overwatch streams during this timeline, though I'm personally less likely to do that than actually play for the skin itself. I want to be the brick-bot. The event runs from today through September 30, so you've got until the end of the month to get your virtual Lego kit locked in.

Overwatch is on an upswing right now, having just been announced as coming to the Nintendo Switch next month. But while it's got a new platform and a new hero with noticeably exposed toes, there are some aspects that have changed a lot since its launch in 2016. The recent addition of role-locked queues is still something I'm adjusting to, and honestly, I tend to find myself hitting the Quick Play Classic button nowadays.

Overwatch hits the Nintendo Switch on October 15, well after the window for Brick Bastion, but it's available now on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
