Overwatch's Halloween Event is Now Live With New Skins and a Revamped Horde Mode

Junkenstein returns.

Overwatch's Halloween event returns for its second year and Dr. Junkenstein is back for revenge. The horde mode returns with a new twist, and more importantly, there are some new skins.

Overwatch's second Halloween event will run from October 10 to November 1. Like last year, the event will include a special PvE horde mode called Junkenstein's Revenge. However, unlike last year where the mode completed after three rounds, this year's Junkenstein's Revenge will be endless. Meaning the hordes of enemies will continue until your team wipes. The team lineup changed as well with this year's event replacing Ana, Soldier 76, Hanzo, and McCree for Genji, Torbjorn, Widowmaker, and Zenyatta.

Of course it's not Halloween without new skins and this year's new outfits include a Dracula skin for Reaper, pirate skin for Ana, viking skin for Torbjorn, Van Helsing outfit for McCree, a Cthulhu-esque skin for Zenyatta, Jiangshi skin for Mei, and my favorite, a 80s hair metal skin for Zarya.

You can start Overwatch's Halloween event right now, though expect some queues as everyone is trying to log into Overwatch right now.
