There's a brand new Morgana's Report video out today from Atlus, which means there's new Persona 5 Royal news to be had. Today, Atlus revealed a new 'Challenge Battle' mode for the re-release.

This challenge sequence of sorts looks set to take place in the Velvet Room, home to Igor, Caroline, and Justine. It seems as though the Phantom Thieves will be put through a series of challenging battles with varying enemies, with the aim of scoring as highly as possible on a leaderboard.

Additionally, we saw the new main menu screen for Persona 5 Royal in action. You can check out the new main menu just below, which looks to be as stylish as ever, showcasing all our Phantom Thieves plus newcomer Kasumi Yoshizawa.

Persona 5 Royal will release on October 31, 2019, but only in Japan. As Atlus recently announced, it'll be coming to the west in Spring 2020, so we'll have to wait a while before we can delve into a third semester, new social links, and more with the Phantom Thieves. For a complete breakdown of everything we know about the re-release so far, head over to our Persona 5 Royal guide.
