PES 2019 Demo to Arrive Just Before New Premier League Season Kicks Off

Get your hands on a free PES 2019 demo on August 8, on Xbox One, PS4, and PC.

The PES 2019 demo is coming pretty soon, on August 8 to be exact. If you're feeling a little lost without any footy on the TV, the PES 2019's demo should help.

After a few weeks of no football (the real version of football!), the wonderful 2018 World Cup now a distant memory, the PES 2019 demo on PS4, Xbox One, and PC more or less ushers in the start of the new season. The 2018/2019 Premier League season kicks off on August 11, just three days after the release of the demo.

As for the PES 2019 demo itself, it features 10 teams (including big hitters Liverpool, Barcelona, and Inter Milan, plus World Cup 2018 winners, France), with matches playable at Barcelona's Camp Nou and Schalke's Veltins Arena.

PES fans will no doubt be eager to see how this year's game builds on an already excellent football sim, although the loss of the Champions League to EA's FIFA 19 is sure to hurt. Thankfully PES 2019 is making some big changes to the core modes and is introducing FUT-like card system to its MyClub mode.

PES 2019 is set to release on August 28, so it won't be long until we know if the additions this year are enough to make the game a real FIFA 19 challenger. Elsewhere on the site we've got a detailed look at all the 2018 sports games, including Madden 19 and FIFA 19.

Tom started life on a circus in Australia before his family moved to the UK. His love of gaming started soon after, which essentially meant he bought every video game magazine available and worked numerous part-time jobs as a child in order to afford costly N64 games. He created UK site VideoGamer.com, of which he was the Editor for over a decade. He now doesn't like circuses.
