Pillars of Eternity 2 Coming to PS4, Xbox One, and Switch This Holiday

Pillars of Eternity 2 Coming to PS4, Xbox One, and Switch This Holiday

Yeah, even the Nintendo Switch.

According to reporting from Game Informer, Obsidian Entertainment's next role-playing game, Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire, will be coming to consoles this holiday season. That's right, you'll be able to get it on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and... Nintendo Switch. I'm sure Nintendo fans are pretty damned happy.

Obsidian Entertainment is handling the development of the PC version of the game, while developer Red Cerberus has partnered with Obsidian to take care of the console versions. The Brazilian developer was only founded last year with a focus on outsourced work, so it'll be interesting to see how the console versions of Pillars of Eternity II turn out.

The PC version of Pillars of Eternity II is coming to Windows, Mac, and Linux on April 3, 2018. It will be published by Obsidian and Versus Evil.

Third-person action-adventure games are his personal poison: Uncharted, Infamous, and Assassin's Creed just to name a few. If you see him around a convention, he's not hard to spot: Black guy, glasses, and a tie.
