PlayStation Network Is Having "Some Difficulty" With Games and Online

The PlayStation 4's gaming service is having a few issues.

If you're trying to connect your PlayStation 4 to get a bit of online gaming in at the moment, you might be having some issues. Sony acknowledged there are currently problems with the PlayStation Network.

On the PlayStation Network server status page, most of the services are up. The lone exception is Gaming and Social, which includes online play, messaging, and party services. If you're trying to do any of that on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, or PlayStation Vita, you're going to run into trouble.

"You may have some difficulty launching games, applications, or online features. Our engineers are working to resolve the issue as soon as possible, and we thank you for your patience," said Sony in its message.

There's currently no indication of how long it'll take to resolve the situation.

If you see him around a convention, he's not hard to spot: Black guy, glasses, and a tie.
