Plushies of all Original 151 Pokemon are Coming This Year

The “Pokemon Fit” line will hit Pokemon Centers in Japan Later this year.

A new collection of pokemon plushies are set to arrive in Japan later this year. The awesome part is that it will feature every single one of the original 151 pokemon.

The “Pokemon Fit” range will offer up a selection of 30 pokemon at first, which will release in Pokemon Centers in Japan on July 13. The remaining 121 pokemon release later on in the year in November. You can check out an image of the 30 first wave pokemon plushies below, which include Pikachu, Ditto, Diglett and more.

This news will no doubt be huge for fans of some of the lesser known original 151, given how hard it is to find quality plushies of some of them. I mean honestly, have you ever seen a Golduck plushie before? The Pokemon Fit range are also a lot smaller than what you usually see on the market, but still have a great level of detail. They’re described as “palm-sized”, though exact specifications aren’t given.

Each plushie is priced at 1,100 Yen, around 10 Dollars. This means that it would set you back $1500 for the full set, which I’m sure you’ll agree, is a small price to pay to catch ‘em all.

There’s no word on whether they will come to the US any time soon, but we’ll keep you updated with any developments. The original 151 have been getting a lot of love lately, with Let’s GO Pikachu and Eevee set to focus on them later this year, and Pokemon GO’s research quests this month offering plenty of Kanto-themed rewards. You can read up about them in our Pokemon Let’s GO Pikachu and Eevee Guide, and our Pokemon GO July Research Guide.
