Poe Dameron in Star Wars: Episode 9 Looks Just Like Nathan Drake

The Rise of Skywalker, or just Uncharted 3?

The Star Wars Celebration is happening in Chicago, Illinois today, and the cast and crew of the upcoming Star Wars: Episode 9 - The Rise of Skywalker revealed some set photos for the upcoming film. Only before the teaser was even released, all anyone could comment on was how Oscar Isaac's Poe Dameron now looks stunningly like Nathan Drake from the Uncharted series.

Seriously, not to knock the otherwise original costume department for Lucasfilm, but why the heck does Poe's outfit resemble Nathan Drake's from Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception? Let's compare. Poe is wearing a neck scarf, beige shirt, and a strap that runs diagonally across his chest. Nathan Drake is also wearing a scarf, beige shirt, and a bandolier that runs diagonally across his chest.

This has sparked calls to cast Isaac as Drake in any live-action adaptation of Uncharted, replacing long-time fancast Nathan Fillion for the role. Though, they forget that there already is a live-action adaptation of Uncharted in the works starring Spider-Man: Homecoming's Tom Holland as a young Nathan Drake.

But that won't stop social media from obsessing over photos of Poe Dameron walking around an alien desert looking cool and doing his best Nathan Drake impersonation.

Though we all came into the Star Wars Celebration looking forward to finding out more about Star Wars: Episode 9 and Respawn's upcoming Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, who knew we would come away with a near perfect Nathan Drake cosplay courtesy of Oscar Isaac?
