Pokemon Company CEO Reinforces NX Hybrid Console Reports
Oh, a Pokemon game is coming to NX. Shocking, I know.
One of the earlier NX rumors this year had The Pokemon Company developing a Pokemon title for the platform within the first six months of launch. In an interview with the Wall Street Journal, Pokemon Company CEO Tsunekazu Ishihara admitted that the company is working on Pokemon for the NX, but declined to say if that title would come at launch.

"The NX is trying to change the concept of what it means to be a home console device or a hand-held device," said Mr. Ishihara. "We will make games for the NX."
The notable part of this quote isn't that The Pokemon Company will be making games for Nintendo's next platform. That's a given and my guess is the game is either a spin-off or a port of Pokemon Sun/Moon for the platform. What's interesting is Ishihara quote backs up this ongoing idea of a hybrid handheld/home console.
Nintendo itself has remained largely quiet on what the NX is, but various reports are pointing to a handheld device powered by an Nvidia Tegra processor. The rumored device has detachable controllers on either side of its screen and while at home, players can use these controller for couch play while the NX itself is hooked to their television.
