Pokemon Go Gets New Mythical And Legendary T-Shirts, Mew Looks Like it's Mooning Us

Why you cheeky little—

It's summer! It's time to put on your Mew shirt and start an effin' party. Yesterday Niantic announced the addition of new clothing available in the Pokémon Go store, including a pink Mew shirt and another shirt emblazoned with the Legendary Pokémon Latias and Latios.

The shirts cost 250 coins each and are meant to commemorate two big in-game events. Mew is out and about for the ongoing Special Research event. Latias and Latios are currently making appearances in raids, though you won't be seeing them after this week. I suppose the shirt is meant to be a fancy farewell, though I think it makes more sense to introduce it at the start of the raid.

I very much like the pink Mew shirt, though I admit the way its leg is drawn makes it look like we're being mooned by the ancestor of all Pokémon. What an honor. I want these shirts to exist in real life, by the way. In fact, I want all the purchasable clothing in Pokémon Go to be real, especially the recently-added T-shirt of Pikachu riding on Lapras' head.

Well, if wishes were Ponytas, beggars would ride. The important thing is, we have everything you need to know about raising Pokémon on your phone. Visit our hints, tips, and guides for Pokémon Go to get set up.

Sometimes we include links to online retail stores. If you click on one and make a purchase we may receive a small commission. See our terms & conditions.
