Pokemon Masters is a brand new mobile game set in the Pokemon universe. It tasks players with collecting Gems, which can then be spent on recruiting new pairs of Pokemon and their trainers. It only just launched worldwide, and like most gam,es these days, has had somewhat of a rocky landing. A lot of players are getting an error message explaining that the servers are down, with a message that states “please check your connection and try again”. In this Pokemon Masters Server Error Guide, we’ll explain error 20101, and offer some possible fixes.
Pokemon Masters Servers Down: Error 20101 Explained
If you've loaded up Pokemon Masters recently you may have been met with an error message telling you to ‘Please check your connection and try again’. This is error 20101, indicating that the servers are down. This is likely due to the increased traffic that has risen because of the worldwide launch.
Can You Fix Error 20101 in Pokemon Masters?
Now that you know that the error is due to server load, there’s very little you can do. The issue is on developer DENA’s side, so you’ll need to wait for servers to catch up with the increased demand. We recommend attempting a sign in every five minutes or so. Alternatively, you could also use a VPN to use servers from different regions, where the stress may be lower.
We’ll be sure to update this page once new fixes have been found. Let us know if you’re having issues logging into Pokemon Masters, in the comments below.
