We explain how to transfer your save data from the Mystery Dungeon demo to the main game on launch.
The demo version of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Rescue Team DX isn't the longest or most comprehensive, but it's still enough to get invested your character, your partner and your team. For that reason, we'll go over the question: does save data and progress from the demo carry over into the full game, and if so, how do you make it do that?

Does Progress in the Demo Carry Over to the Main Game?
Yes, it does! Provided you're on the same Switch and the same account, any progress you made in the demo can be loaded into the main game if you choose it to, allowing you to carry on from where you left off whether you got to the end of the demo or not.
How to Transfer Demo Progress to the Main Game
Once you start the main game, assuming you have demo progress saved, the game should automatically detect it and will ask you if you want to continue from that point or start a new game. Be sure if you don't want to continue; this is your one opportunity to pick off from where you left before. Otherwise select yes, and you should be good to go as you proceed.
