Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Rescue Team DX Releases in March for Switch

And the demo is out later today.

In today's Nintendo Direct, a Pokemon Mystery Dungeon game was revealed. Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Rescue Team DX was revealed for the Nintendo Switch, a deluxe edition of two games first released in 2006.

The original Pokemon Mystery Dungeon released as two games back in 2006: Red Rescue Team, and Blue Rescue Team. Both games are now available in this one package, which releses on March 6, 2020, for the Nintendo Switch only. There's a demo out today out on the Switch e-Shop, and all progress will carry over to the final game.

Here at USgamer, we're blissfully unfamiliar with the Mystery Dungeon games in the Pokemon series. Although as anyone can see in the reveal trailer at the beginning of the Direct above, it's a top-down, turn-based strategy game, in which the player character appears to awaken in the body of a Pikachu. Weird.

We'll update this post should any additional information surrounding Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Rescue Team DX be revealed.

He's written for The Guardian, Paste Magazine, and Kotaku, and he likes waking up when the sun rises and roaming the nearby woods with the bears and the wolves.
