Pokemon Smile Will Help Your Kids Brush Their Teeth, The Pokemon Company Hopes

This should go down a treat with kids.

Well, I for one did not see this coming at the start of today. Pokemon Smile was revealed earlier today during a special Pokemon Presentation, and it's a game based around getting children to brush their teeth.

You can see the reveal trailer for Pokemon Smile in all its weird glory just below. I expected some sort of news from this Pokemon presentation, but I definitely didn't imagine a mobile game that turns your children into cutesy Pokemon while they're brushing their teeth.

This is what, I suppose, Nintendo is banking in to get your children to brush their teeth. Children typically aren't very good at being told what to do (duh), and they're even less good at brushing their teeth when they're told to. (If my childhood is anything to go by, at least.)

Pokemon Smile is available today for smart devices. Go forth and brush.

Elsewhere in the Pokemon presentation, Nintendo announced a new version of Pokemon Snap, among other things. There's not too many details to go on about the new version of Snap as of right now, but we do know that it'll be coming to the Nintendo Switch at some point in the future.

There was also an announcement of a very strange Pokemom cafe game. This game is called Pokemon Cafe Mix, and you'll have to get Pokemon to use their skills to help you in serving customers at the cafe, when it launches on Nintendo Switch.
