A brand new kind of Pokemon will arrive with Pokemon Sword and Shield. Here’s what you need to know about Galarian Pokemon.

During a recent trailer, Nintendo revealed some new details on Pokemon Sword and Shield. One of the highlights was the introduction of Galarian Pokemon, which look to be new forms of existing Pokemon. To help you keep track of the new info, we’ve put together this Pokemon Sword and Shield Galarian Pokemon Guide. We’ll take a look at all of the confirmed Galarian Pokemon so far, and keep the list updated as more are revealed.

Pokemon Sword and Shield Galarian Pokemon List

So far we’ve only seen one brief trailer involving Galarian Pokemon, so we don’t have much to go on. We’ve listed the confirmed Galarian Form Pokemon below, and will go into more detail on each below.

  • Galarian Wheezing
  • Galarian Zigzagoon
  • Galarian Linoone

Galarian Wheezing

You can check out an image of Galarian Wheezing below. There are a few interesting things of note, namely that Galarian Wheezing is a Poison/Fairy type. Its ability is Levitate, and a mystery move that has yet to be revealed.

Galarian Zigzagoon

Another Galarian form Pokemon that we know about so far is Galarian Zigzagoon. You can check out an image of it below. Galarian Zigzagoon is a Dark/Normal type, with an Ability of Pickup/Glutton.

Galarian Linoone

Given that we’ve seen Galarian Zigzagoon, it follows that we have also seen Galarian Linoone. You can check out Galarian Linoone in the image below, and should note that it is also a Dark/Normal type with Pickup and Gluttony Abilities.

So What Are Galarian Form Pokemon?

Given that Pokemon Sword and Shield is still a while out, we have yet to get any concrete details on Galarian Pokemon. They appear to be similar to Alolan pokemon, which were introduced last gen. They have an extra type status applied, and new abilities. It’s likely that more Galarian Pokemon will be revealed in the coming weeks, so stay tuned for future updates.
