Pokemon The Movie: The Power of Us Coming to Theatres in November

That's the Power of Us~

The latest Pokémon movie, Pokémon the Movie: The Power of Us, is getting a limited English theatrical release on the Thanksgiving weekend. If you don't want to deal with your family's politics around the roasted corpse of a turkey, here's your out.

The Power of Us (which was recently released in Japan as Pokémon: Everyone's Story) sees Ash and Pikachu journey to a seaside town that resembles San Francisco—if San Francisco had Pokémon running around everywhere and people just happened to worship the legendary Lugia. Ash arrives just in time to witness a ceremony celebrating Lugia, but everything goes wrong (as things often do when Ash is around), and it's up to Ash and the townspeople to head off destruction before it washes ashore.

You can catch The Power of Us in select theatres on November 24, 26, and 28, in addition to December 1. Everyone's Story aired alongside a teaser for the next Pokémon movie, which appears to be a remake of the much-loved Mewtwo Strikes Back. Hopefully the teaser makes the trip overseas.

Pokémon the Movie: The Power of Us will come to theatres around the same time Pokémon comes to the Switch! It's going to be a busy month for trainers. Get a head start and check out our guides for Pokémon Let's Go Pikachu and Let's Go Eevee.
