Prey Teases New Lunar DLC With a R.E.M. Song Lyric

The Steam achievements look weird.

Prey is teasing some new DLC by updating the game's Steam achievements with a cryptic new clue.

If you go to Prey's Steam achievements page, you'll see that the new achievements say, "If you believed they put a man on the moon." The achievements are a reference to the R.E.M. song "Man on the Moon" which shares those exact lyrics.

Prey's new Steam achievements.

This is the second moon-based tease Arkane Studios released for Prey following a March tweet showing a gif of the moon and the caption, "Do we really know what's out there?"

A KasmaCorp twitter account also popped up, though it's currently protected. KasmaCorp currently has a Reddit account that's been posting binary codes referencing the Lunar DLC. The most recent post is a picture of the Earth taken from the moon. The message translated reatures "imagure31nProa" which leads to this Imgur gif page of some gameplay.

We expect to hear about Prey's DLC at Bethesda's E3 2018 showcase on June 10. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with Prey and you can check out our positive review here. For more, check out our complete Prey guide with the full walkthrough and guide for the game.
