Square Enix has just revealed the next game in the Kingdom Hearts franchise: Project Xehanort. This is a mobile spin-off game from the franchise, launching in Spring 2020.
Project Xehanort isn't the final name of the mobile game. There's actually a competition on Twitter until January 28, where Square is inviting people to guess the name of the new game using the hashtag 'KHNameContest.'

There's not really much information to go on about Project Xehanort for now. We know it'll be launching on iOS, Android and Amazon devices sometime in Spring 2020, and it certainly looks like the mobile title will explore Xehanort's fall to the darkness.
Just recently, Kingdom Hearts director Tetsuya Nomura took part in a Q&A through the Japanese Kingdom Hearts Twitter account. Through the fan translation below, Nomura was alleged to have said that two new Kingdom Hearts projects were in development, with one of them "coming surprisingly soon." It's not clear if Nomura was referencing Project Xehanort as one of these games.
Kingdom Hearts 3's DLC, Re Mind, just launched today on January 23 for all platforms. Our review of the DLC will be published later today, but right now you can read about an update to the game that made changes to the ending cutscene of the original game.
