April's PlayStation Plus free games have been revealed, and they are The Surge and Conan Exiles. The two titles will be available for free in April so long as you have an active PlayStation Plus subscription.
The Surge is an action-RPG from developer Deck13 Interactive. It is a Souls-like action game with the players donning on a mechanized exosuit that allows them to fight evil machines in a dystopian future. Players can upgrade their suit as they progress the game, accessing different modules for upgrades and unlock new finishing moves.
Funcom's Conan Exiles is a survival game set in the Conan the Barbarian universe. Players can create their own characters (with *ahem* extensive customization options) and explore the dangerous, fantastical world of Conan. Murder monsters and gather supplies to dress yourself, build shelters, weapons, and more.
You still have time to pick up last month's free PS Plus games which includes the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare remaster and The Witness. Check out our PS Plus guide here for more info.
As a quick reminder, Sony phased out PS3 and PS Vita games from its PS Plus offerings each month earlier this year. So these free games only extend to PS4 owners for the time being.
