Those holding out for some big PlayStation exclusives to make their way to PC got a glimmer of hope today when they popped up on Amazon France. Those listings for PC ports of games like Days Gone, Bloodborne, and Persona 5 Royal are in error though, according to the games' publishers.
Spotted on various social media, listings for PC ports of Days Gone and Persona 5 Royal all popped up this morning on Amazon France. An old story about a listing for Bloodborne on PC from a few years ago also made the rounds again. What seemed too good to be true ended up being just that though, as comments from Sony and Sega have since described them as errors.
"That listing is an error and we're looking into having it taken down and how it happened," Sega told PCgamer today. Sony also told IGN that the Days Gone and Bloodborne listings are not accurate; "we have made no announcements to bring these games to PC," said Sony.
The recent announcement of PC ports for PS4-exclusive games like Death Stranding and Horizon Zero Dawn had some hopeful that more would be coming, but for now, it looks like these specific PlayStation games will stay just that way: on the PlayStation.
If you do own a PS4 however, be sure to check out our coverage of the recently launched Persona 5 Royal, which has a few good reasons to revisit the 100-hour RPG. Or you could just find a cat that tells you to go to sleep.
