PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds just released a new version of PUBG Mobile that now includes the desert map Miramar.
Miramar is the second map ever released on PUBG, and is currently only available on PC. The desert map held a test server on the Xbox One and is scheduled to launch on the console version on May 24. However, it looks like the mobile version of PUBG beat the Xbox to the punch.
Other new updates included in this version are new Progress Missions, where players collect progress rewards for reaching new levels, weekly Activity missions, multiplayer codes so you can quickly team up with your friends who input the same 6-digit code as you, and several quality of life improvements for languages, avatars, and regions.
Players can also browse the shop where they can preview and purchase new outfits, or a Secret Stash that has special discounted items for sale.
All-in-all it's a pretty robust update. For how to get started on PUBG Mobile check out our PUBG Mobile guide which will tell you how to install the game and get started.
It's interesting to see PUBG Mobile beat PUBG on Xbox to Miramar, but the pace of these two versions trail development on the Xbox version, so any update is important for a non-PC version of PUBG. We'll be seeing Miramar next on the Xbox on May 24 so check out our PUBG Xbox guide for all the latest tips and tricks.
