PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds is officially coming to PlayStation 4 on December 7 and there's going to be some exclusive PlayStation skins coming to the game as part of the celebration.
PUBG kicked off the original battle royale craze we're seeing today, but when it came time for a console release PUBG partnered with Xbox to make it an Xbox One timed exclusive. An early preview version was released on December 12, 2017. Now, a little over a year later PUBG is coming to PS4.
There will be several editions of PUBG available for PS4, each with their own bonuses:
- Disc Edition – Base Game, $30 USD
- Looter's Digital Edition – Base Game, $30 USD
- Survivor's Digital Edition – Base Game, Vikendi Event Pass, 2,300 G-Coin Pack, 20,000 BP, $50 USD
- Champion's Digital Edition – Base Game, Vikendi Event Pass, 6,000 G-Coin Pack, 20,000 BP, $60 USD
In addition, pre-orders for every tier of the game will include two Sony-themed cosmetic skins. The Nathan Drake Desert Outfit and Ellie's Backpack lets you change your wardrobe to look like Nathan Drake's, or change up the backpacks you find littered around the map to resemble Ellie's from The Last of Us. PUBG recently announced character skins including a Harley Quinn and Joker skin in partnership with DC.
PUBG will launch with three maps, Erangel, Miramar, and Sanhok, and the fourth snow map is coming this winter. You can pre-order the game today, or check out our PUBG guide for tips and tricks on the best way to get started.
