PUBG Xbox Hits 5 Million Players, and Everyone Gets a Free Jacket

Dress to party, dress to die.

PUBG on Xbox One has hit 5 million players on Xbox One. Even though PUBG for Xbox One has come under fire for being glitchy and unfinished (a problem PUBG Corp is hard at work fixing), "5 million" is an impressive number to pile on top of PUBG's ample PC sales.

The announcement about the sales milestone was posted earlier today on Xbox Wire. Microsoft and PUBG Corp even made an infographic to break PUBG Xbox's numbers down. All its numbers.

Winners and Dinners

PUBG Xbox players are also getting a free and exclusive gift: An Xbox-green "PUBG5" jacket. For many of us, this is our first article of clothing fit to be buried in. Nice.

"Please shoot me in the head, I don't want to get blood on this."

PUBG for Xbox has received some significant patches recently, and PUBG Corp has a roadmap in place that should help bring the Xbox version of the game up to speed with PUBG for the PC. There are several things you can do to improve your PUBG Xbox One experience immediately, though. Try them out on the battlefield!
