Pupperazzi Is an Upcoming Game Where You Snap Pics of Very Good Pups

A chill time with some chill dogs.

There have been a few attempts at photography sims in the years since the infamous Pokemon Snap, but an upcoming game shown today focuses on real-life dogs rather than fictional pocket monsters. Armed with a camera and gear in tow, Pupperazzi is a game about taking good pics of very good dogs.

Shown during today's Wholesome Snack showcase, Pupperazzi will have players running around the environment looking for dogs. Today's trailer confirms that developer Sundae Month, who created the chill Diaries of a Spaceport Janitor, has teamed up with Kitfox Games in order to craft a photo sim that's all about the pups.

In a press release, the studio confirms there will be "SO. MANY. DOGS." This includes shibas, terriers, labs, pugs, and more. Hang out with pups, dress the pups up, and do fun activities like fetch or hang out on playground equipment. There's also some upgradeable gear and other features to really spice up your dog snapshots.

Today's Wholesome Snack showcase, a quick-hit stream featuring several chill games hosted by the team behind the Wholesome Direct. The stream included updates on a variety of upcoming games that easily fall into categories like cozy or relaxing, like the upcoming Garden Story, and Pupperazzi seemed right at home.

No release date has been set yet for Pupperazzi, so it could be a bit before you can run around snapping pics of these virtual dogs. That's just fine, however. Between the stellar Umurangi Generation and the recently announced return of Pokemon Snap, we are in a virtual photography revival. It's about time some adorable dogs got into that mix.
